I finally am going to get my 89 Camaro I have been waiting for at the dealership today. The only problem is I live in Missouri and we are kinda in the middle of a snow/ice storm. The roads are a little slick and I know Camaros don't do very well in the snow, luckly the dealer ship is just 3 miles away, so all I need is a little driving tips for driving it home. And what should I do if I fish tail?

Drive slow, never hit the brakes or gas suddenly, if you loose traction, immediately remove your foot from the gas, if you fish tail, same thing but turn wheel in the direction you want the car to go, be careful to NOT over correct! Use tire chains if at all possible!

ALSO watch for other out of control vehicles and be prepared to avoid them, where possible :)

Don't be afraid to drive on ice & snow, in fact, it is really a good idea to find an empty parking lot, and get a feel for your car at slow speeds, it will help you to be better on the real roads, call me crazy, but getting all of the experience you can is a good thing, especially later on when you NEED to drive in the snow or ice for a family emergency!

If I were you I would wait,I had a Camaro once and drove it in the snow and it did lousy, rear wheel drives do no do well in the snow.
My only advice is that if you do decide to chance driving your Camaro in the snow,is to go slow with flashers on,and have someone drive behind you ,not to close lol,and I would seriously consider having the car towed to wherever you want it stored ,the cost might be worth it,rather than take the chance of having your car getting smashed up.

Soap has some very good advice. The only thing that I would add is that you never, and I mean NEVER, react too fast. Keep EVERYTHING slow. If you are on a bunch of side roads, keep it in 1st. It will never shift and you can only go so fast. If you are on main roads that the city or county has taken care of, then do not put it into overdrive, assuming it is an auto. If it is a stick. Leave in 1st on sides, and 3rd on main. Good luck. I live in Topeka and I know what you are going through.

be very gentle. drive to the left or right of the usual road position, the snow is less packed down so you have a small bit more grip
