Slice up some carrots and apples and take warm water and mix it all in with their grain.
Let it sit a few minutes so it is not to hot and let htem have that.
Mine love the fresh fruit and stuff in with the grain and they like it with the warm water.
It is a great way to get extra water into the horse as sometimes they do not drink much when it gets cold and it is an easy way to keep them hydrated.
Mine like all sorts of fresh fruit so I just slice up what ever I have one hand that they like and mix it in.

Just the feed that you usually feed them --then mix enough warm water in to make a mash out of that--I am sure your horse loves its grain--so its gonna love it warm too--You can add some extra molasses (not a lot just a tad to give it an extra sweet ) because the water will make it less sweet--

Use wheat bran to mix with the other goodies and warm water. They LOVE it and it also keeps their system flowing well because its high in fiber. Just don't give bran daily... once a week is good.
