Don't be intimidated by the page count. Think of it as a challenge! Set for yourself a manageble goal to read 20 or 30 or 50 pages per day and you will finish it! Chances are, you will go beyond your daily goal and finish even faster.

Reading classics like Moby Dick is important. As you go along in life, you will no doubt encounter many references or allusions to it in movies and other books etc and you will know what is meant by them.

Good luck and enjoy!

You can certainly read 150 pages a day and even more, but take into consider that after a while, your concentration and remembrance level will suffer if you are not interested in the material. And if that happens, what's the point of trying to read that much at once. Maybe you can find a synopsis that is comprehensive enough to meet your class needs. Good luck.

Sure. Even if you took a whole minute to read just one page, 150 pages would equal 150 minutes, which is 2 1/2 hours.
