If you fell in love with someone at first sight ,would you ignore that person's mistakes and bad manners?

Love at first sight is only lust or at best infatuation---how can you love someone you don't know?
Real love is built, not destined, and part of the process is learning to deal with--not ignore--the petty annoyances that are part of that person.

You just gotta decide if the good outweighs the bad and if you can live with the bad traits of that person. I have fallen in love at first sight once before and will love the guy until the day I day and then some. His good outweighs his bad any day of the week, but we are just friends now and I can live with that. Guess we don't get everything we want in life....

think about it you don't know know a thing about this person,
other than the few red flags you've had the luxury of previewing.
I don't mean to sound cynical, I think it's just the father in me.

My husband was my love at first sight...still is...12 years later...and no one is perfect of course...but I have a really good hubby! (smiles)....so yes, we should overlook SOME of peoples mistakes and mannerisms, of course only if they are little petty ones....domestic abuse, or any kind of abuse is wrong is what I am saying....

I suppose for a while you would....that happened to me once and I ignored those things, but I think that's the case with any kind of new love when it comes down to it.....
