Calling all Americans living in UK. Do you miss home, or do you prefer it here? Im originally from North Carolina, but moved to England 8 years ago. There are things I miss, but dont think id ever move back to the states permanently.

I have been living in the UK for 3 years now and I love it. I'm from Oklahoma and I don't miss it. England has so much to offer! The history and landscapes! The people here have been friendly and welcoming toward me. Oh I miss things like grape jelly and Mountian Dew but not enough to move back. I prefer it here. I know people here think badly of americans right now but we can thank that idiot George Bush for that. I just hope most people don't judge all of us by that dimwits actions.

You propose the first mild of break of day? i have considered it many a time at the same time as operating at evening as i'm outdoors for 8 to eight a million/2 hours at the same time as i'm on nights!! not something somewhat like that and break of day contained in the hotter spring and summer season months.

i'm glad to see you're happy here, i wonder what it is here that has you convinced you would never move back? is it the people? the area? i'd love to go to the us for a couple of months it fascinates me. we're going to florida for 2 weeks in june so i'll have to settle for that unless i win the lottery!!
