It hurts... its not like killer pain, but I wouldn't say that it doesn't get sore. When they pierce it - they have to punch through a good bit of flesh, so that may have something to do with it. It wasn't the worst or easiest piercing I've had though =)

well to me it didn't hurt. go to a clean, and reputable place. it feels like when you go to the doctors and get a shot. However after wards you must be careful and clean it as instructed, and careful not to bang it up, because then it could feel sore. Also depends on the person, how long it will take to heal. Mine to heal completely took about 4 months. That is why i got it done in march.

I've had mine for 10 years.
I think that getting my ear cartilage pierced hurt more than the belly button. But be careful not to snag it on stuff, cuz that will sting a bit. & make sure you do exactly what they say to clean it.

IT REALLY DOES HURT TO GET YOUR BELLY PIERCED. WHEN I GOT MINE PIERCED IT HURT LIKED HELL. AFTER THAT THEY GIVE YOU THIS DISINFECTANT BECAUSE YOUR BELLY WELL START TO LEAK PUSS. AND YOU CANT TAKE THE RING OUT FOR A MONTH. PLUS IT ITCHES LIKE HELL.

it depends where you get it becuase my friend ot it in a bad place and its purple.but yes it stings and get sore for the first day but youll like it.
