I have been quoted £2.5k for a Press Release, but am loath to shell out that which I can ill afford without some guarantee of the work being published.

I have spent over 5 years attempting to interest the press in a gross miscarriage of justice which has left me devoid of the;

Right to Employment

Human Rights Act

Geneva 01/12/1948

Article 6 & 10

as also;

EEC

Brussels 05/10/1`968

Paragraph 1612.

So far it has cost me my entire family, as also any hope of pension 01/2015. My health as also that of my family has also suffered.

Legal aid is "conveniently" unavailable for a so-called "civil-case"
& pro-bono is equally impossible for "blue-collar" technicians.

My original solicitor, Clarke-Brookes, West Brom, financed by the T&GWU did not bother to attend court. Meantime the union refuse to replace him, & both have simply "dumped" me.

Despite receiving income support / incapacity ben. since 10/09/01, I am denied rent / ct benifit by sandwell mbc.

Hi Leogirl,

Many thanks for your interest.

Sadly I am completely dependent on the use of public machines & free yahoo! All this at the discretion of those in controll.

I dream of owning my own tent, as remote as poss.

I equally dream of accessto Outlook Express in the privacy of my own tent, 24/7.

Regretably non of this is financially (politically) possible.

Bill.

Hi Retep g,

Regrets, the CAB can only help AFTER an eviction order (Notice to Quit) has been issued.

Many thanks,

Bill

If you are on income support you should be able to get both rent rebate and council tax benefit, if you pop along to the Citizens Advice they will help you fill in any forms. Good luck.

It sounds like you have been hard done by - the press may change your words & intentions around if you go with them, but it's probably worth a try if you can get your story out for free...

You said much, but not what the miscarriage of justice is ....

I reckon you are on a losing streak, and any cases you try to send to court you will lose, so giving up might be your best option. You can still do a one-man (or family) demo outside whoever's building if you want to attract free publicity & attention to yourself & to your cause.

Instead of wasting 5 years in the press, you should have pressing for judicial review, if you say- pro bono it would have sufficient public interest, your facts don't make any sense!

How do you know what a miscarriage of justice is, did you have a criminal conviction, put something coherent up so we can understand what the issue is. There are somethings which are public policy and can only be challenged with sufficient lobbying of parliament.

Forget the whole thing and forge along on something new in your life. We all get ripped off sometime but it is never worth five years of slog with nothing at the end. Just learn from it and don't puit yourself in the same position ever again

Why would you pay for a press release--if your situation is really news worthy, they publicize it for free. Maybe I don't understand your question......

You can't be that bad off if you were given a computer and access to a public forum.
