No matter where you live, get involved in school plays and community theater. Good actors and actresses can come from anywhere. Just ask the following, all born in Puerto Rico: Jose Ferrar, Joaquin Phoenix, Raul Julia, Ari Meyers, Bruce Gray.

Why Texas? If you want to be an actress, you should move where they hire actresses...like New York or L.A. Go there...take some classes and start going to auditions. That's how everyone else does it.

Be in local theater production and talk to an agent just get involved with any kind of theater like your school or community if you have experience then people would want to hire you over someone who say has no experience...overall just get involved...GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
