URL= Uniform Resource Locator......also known as a website address; ie www.websitenamehere.com

URL = Uniform Resource Locator, think of the 'Net as a huge melting pot of services, then URL is the path used by 'Net in the same way a hard drive path is used for finding a file; e-mail uses a specialized form of URL, and ask your ISP for the email associated with your account.
