It's highly recommended, if not required, to take courses such as biology and chemistry in high school. Then it makes your experience look even better if you do a co-op program at a vet's office.

When you graduate, you have to get yourself accepted into a university. One that specializes in veterinary training would be best, but I think you can take vet courses from general universities, if they're even offered.

You'll probably get a job within a vet's office doing a desk job, then you may be a vet tech, and rank your way up to a vet.

you will have to go to school, graduate, become an intern, and then, finally you will become a vet.
I know it seems like alot, my mom is going to school to become a dentist, and she is almost done. She already saw where she is going to be an intern.

Its all worth it. Good luck!
