leave the fan on . The start up of the fan takes up more electricity than when it is running. Every time the fan motor starts it shortens the life of the fan. and that fan will die way before your furnace needs other repair . Thats the economic answer. Secondly your home will stay more comfortable with less hot and cold spots as the air constantly circulates. The filtered air will help with Cleanliness and health.Use the best filters ,that is least micron size filtration

Auto. You set the temp of your house and once the temp is reached, the furnace will regulate it. It doesn't run as often and won't take that long for the temp to be reached.

The fan will continually run and not only are you using gas you are using electricity too.

Running the fan you are only out the electricity to run the fan which is minimal. Think of it as a air filtration system but change the filter more frequently ,especially if there are pets in the house.

Running the fan all the time will waste the electricity required by the fan motor and cause your space to be drafty. In addition, there will be added noise. Run it on auto.
