Express uses POP3 and the free yahoo mail is not POP3 . If you pay for premium you could. I heard it did work at one time but no more.

Not with Yahoo free e-mail account
Yahoo take charge from POP access

If you really need free e-mail account with POP access, get Google's free webmail service.
