Just wondering if you would still watch if Keifer was to decide to leave the show. Would it still be high in the ratings. Keifer was on Larry King last week and he thinks the show would be OK without him.

24 without Keifer's Jack Bauer would suffer the same fate as
The X Files did without David Duchovny's Mulder. If you take
away the heart of a show it doesn't last long, even with
new and exciting actors.

Keifer makes the show and if he left 24 might survive 1 season, that's it.

It would depend on who became the lead character as I love Keifer. I am still a bit distraught over the loss of David Palmer and Edgar, sad but true.

Keifer is Jack Bauer......he is the focus of 24.......who else has the charisma and balls to be what Keifer has created.

Depends on who they got to replace him. Keifer has always said that he would like the character to die at some point. I'm getting excited about the movie they are planning on doing.

Probably, but Keifer IS the show.

I would, the show itself is great, and I truly LOVE Kiefer as Jack Bauer, but I would have to trust that the people running the show would be able to at least attempt to find someone else who could to try and have the type of energy that Kiefer brings to Jack, to another character.

Anyone who thinks the show could go on without Bauer doesn't know jack.

No. What would be the point? No Jack Bauer- no 24.

I probably wouldn't watch it anymore. As much as I love the show, the storylines and characters... Jack IS 24 for me! He's awesome!
