Any map shown in three dimensions. ie Google Earth which can give you a representation of height, width and breadth.

These are also commonly referred to as "relief maps" and can be generated in both print and computer formats. The major benefits of these kinds of maps are that they assist the viewer in knowing what is on the surface of a location (for example, forested, urban area, water, etc.) and how high that location is relative to it's neighboring locations, both at the same time. The print format of relief maps are commonly more expensive to purchase than topographic maps which only show contours of similar elevation on them.
