I agree..The series' were excellent, in +10 they just made everyone sad and miserable. Anna's character was just tragic. Such a shame. I don't think Egg would have stayed with Milly either - he would have fallen head over heels with someone else, maybe the cafeteria lady.

I watched it, i did not think it was good as the show before, i even watched the the talk with the actors after and they said it was a change becuase they had more money which enabled them to use more than one camera.
I did enjoy parts but they glossed over a lot of thing from the show, ir was also left open even though most said they would not do any more this life.

I loved the series which was recently re-run and I also liked the +10 as well. I agree it wasn't as good but still enjoyed it. I was just disappointed that Jack Davenport completely dismissed doing another one off later on. They managed it with Auf Wiedersehen Pet - all those comebacks have been excellent, so why not with This Life.
I missed Ferdie though!

I did, and it was OK. I think it was a little too intense both dramatically and the way it was filmed - not like the original series.
p.s. I asked this last week and for some mad reason got a violation for it. So watch out.

I watched the series, but was disappointed with this `one off`. Before they were `watch-worthy` characters but now they have turned into `every-one else. Their magic has gone, just like in real life.

I watched it and didn't like it one bit. I was a huge fan of it in the 90's and always hoped that they would bring it back. But this one was a huge disappointment. They should have left well alone.
