I have had this before and I wasn't pregnant if you are thinking this may be a symptom. I have had two children and the usual pregnancy symptom is aching and pain in the breasts.

SUZI S advice sounds about right. Put a pad of gauze between your cloths and nipple until you have chance to change you wahing poweder. ECO powder is just the best and the cloths softner.
Also Try some vaseline on the end of your nipples for now.

Try puting an anti-fungal cream on them, it could just be a bit of an infection. Canesten should do the trick!!
When I was pregnant my nipples got very sensitive but never itchy.
Might be an idea to ask your doc honey!!

I have this sometimes and it's excema. Even if you haven't had it before, it still might be as I didn't get it until my mid twenties. Go the the doctors and get some nice cream to sort it all out. In the meantime, I agree that vaseline is soothing.

This was my very first sign of pregnancy. It wasn't the usual itchiness that sometimes happens but like crawling insects and I itched until I was saw. Soooooo.......Good Luck.

This could be caused by changing the detergent you use to wash your shirts and/or bras. Or, if there is a discharge, it could be something to see your doctor about. Have you changed body soap? You sound like you have an allergy to something that has "changed" - body soap, lotion, detergent, fabric softener, etc. If it continues, please see your doctor...it could be as simple as dry skin - but, it's nothing to fool around with. Good luck!
