Before you can go to medical school, you have to complete a Bachelor's degree first. After you graduate from college with your Bachelor's degree, then you go on to med school. So it does not matter whether your first college even has a medical school attached to it, as long as you can take the pre requisite courses that the med schools want you to take before you arrive..

First you have to complete high school with excellent grades so that you can get into a good college. You need to take as much chemistry, physics and math as you can get, at the highest level, like AP courses and honors courses, calculus and advanced physics. Those courses will get you ready for the science courses in college which will be harder and more concentrated.

Then when you get to college you take any subjects you want, as long as you take the specific courses that the medical schools want - chemistry, organic chemistry, math, physics, biology, biochemistry. You need to graduate from college with about a 3.5 out of 4.0 average ( mostly As with one or two Bs) Then you have a decent chance of getting into med school for the next four years.

There are quite a few sites on line about med schools so check some of them out.

I'm not sure which COUNTRY you wish to study in....but in Canada there are good medical schools at The University of Toronto/McGill (Montreal), Queens (Kingston), Western (London) and Dalhousie (Halifax).....all of which are in the eastern part of Canada. I'm not so familiar with the medical schools out west. I happen to have attended Toronto....so that would be my choice.
