Because our leader is a dribbling, pathetic, embarrassing fool who would do anything to please his master, George.

The general population have no say in what is done so we all get dragged along into the same sh*theap that America has already hauled itself into.

Ok, we owe the US big time for the backing they gave us in the major world wars. Believe what you like, but their support made us win the war in the end. As a result of this Anglo-American ties have always been strong through business and entertainment. I actually feel sorry for Blair as I believe there was nothing he could do. The war in Afghanistan and Iraq were terrible and about oil, but where would we be if Tony said I am not helping you George. The USA whether we like it or not are the global power and we do not need them as an enemy. If they called in debts or cut business ties, our country could of been in trouble. The thing we have to do now is to find a way to back out of the Iraq conflict gracefully. We did our bit, Saddam is toppled, get our troops out and leave the USA to sort out the oil prices.
