I'm no particular fan of Tony Blair, but I don't understand why people made a big fuss that Robin Gibb let him stay in his mansion, even if it was free. Isn't that just a nice thing that none of us would mind happening for ourselves? What's wrong with a friend paying for your holiday?

No you are not the only one! I have no objections. Of course it would be preferable if he would stay away permanently!!!!!!!!!!!

If I had a rich friend I would certainly accept his offer of a free holiday stay and as you say why shouldn't our Tony. Unfortunately his apparent lack of interest in our armed forces welfare and living standards as well as their standard of living conditions causes many of us to complain about anything he says or does.
Despite the fairly obvious ramifications of joining the armed forces, somewhat bizarrely the rest of the population don't really think they should actually be involved in armed conflict.
I expected to maintain aircraft when I applied for a job as aircraft engineer. Wouldn't it be strange to find myself knitting all day instead of washing the oil and grease off my hands.
Perhaps the negativity of jealousy is part of us all, the thing is personally I would rather not have to listen the ear-piercing shrieks aka music, poor old Tony had to endure.

We don't want him to reward Mr Gibb with a gong or peerage - or for it to in any way mean that we get to hear more Bee Gee songs on the radio or TV

I would think you folks over there in England would want Blair to go on permanent vacation.

Maybe he and Bush can go on vacation together and get lost at sea.

Yes have to agree, if Gibby wanted him to stay in his mansion for free who cares as long as the tax payer isnt paying for it..

Because Blair is always on holiday, he's never anywhere else.

i think perhaps the guy being a puppet for the new world order (global elite) and being a long line of people to dismantle our country in front of everyones eyes maybe a small part of it .
