Is it a boy or a girl?

Question

I have my ultrasound today, but I'm freakin' DYIN' over here! lol

I know not to take any of the wives tales seriously. I really do...

I'm just taking a vote (to be answered tonight for 10 whopping points)...

Carrying high, wanting junk food, insomnia, racing heartbeat, slowing of hair growth, terribly dry skin, carrying wide, fatigue, fetal heart rate is 163, moderate fetal activity...

... What do you think?

According to some "wives tales" I've heard if your stomach is the size of a basketball, sits low, and you have an easy pregnancy you are carrying a boy.

If you are going through hell and get extremely big (sounds like what you're going through) and carry high you are having a girl.

The wives tales scared me into not wanting a girl right away O_o; XD LOL just kidding around.

But when my mom had my sister and I she didn't have easy pregnancies and had morning sickness a lot.

How far along are you? Can they actually tell if you are having a boy or a girl yet? Don't get tooo excited sometimes the kid has his/her legs in the way and you can't see it anyway...

My guess though is a girl because of the high fetal heart rate... just a guess tho hehe

LOL, I did the same thing the night before my ultrasound. I am gonna guess a boy. I had myself convinced I was having a boy, all my dreams baby was a boy, tried all the old wives tales, guess what?!?!? Im having a girl. Good Luck today. Be prepared for the tears!

I'm going to guess girl.

That's based off the slowing of hair growth. Because when I had my boy, hair growth got darker and thicker......

It's the same thing I'm using when I say this pregnancy is a girl for me too, because it's opposite of my son.

My first child.....
carried high, craved health good, slept really good all the time, heart rate usually ran right at 150, very active ALL THE TIME, itched non-stop, was told it was a BOY......ITS WAS A GIRL!!!!
This baby.....
carrying low, crave junk food and Mountain Dew, can't sleep worth a fart, heart rate is usally about 160, not as active as first one, THANK GOD!!!! Still itch non-stop......Suppose to be a Girl....I will find out today.
I don't think any of it matters, really. My mom carried my sister high, and me low.
I will guess, though....hummmmmm......................

2 ultrasounds says its a girl:

*Carried low in the beginning, now carrying middle-but drops sometimes.
*Yes to the junk food--actually was able to tolerate sugary foods better than I did before pregnancy.
*No insomnia, just wake up everytime I roll to one side or the other, 1st because its like having to move furniture to get my belly over, 2nd I end up having to pee.
*racing hearbeat, on occasion.
*No slow hair growth-growing like crazy and since my hair was long I'd usually lose a hairful a day in the shower pre-pregnancy...Now my hair has grown almost to the top of my butt, and I no longer lose any to very little in the shower.
*No to dry skin
*I've definitely widened, I actually felt my @ss spread about a month ago, and my legs got chubby all the sudden.
*very tired, I didn't get the full 2nd trimester repreive they say women get.
*baby heart rate ranges from 137-160
*She has her moments-but I've only twice felt a foot and elbow/knee sticking out.

I think it could be a boy or a girl, not being a smart a- -, but all those things are nothing more then old wives tales.
