As long as you know better, I wouldnt worry about what other people say. I was taught people who put down other people, are just trying to make up for lack of confidence of themselves.

My Mrs sister-in-law has 5 kids and she is still married to the same bloke who is father to the 5 kids. I agree most women who have 5 kids with 5 different men are slappers. But you're certainly are not one. It depends on their circumstances, some women might have kids just have to get benefits and a house, which is morally wrong. I think bringing 3 kids up with grandchildren living with you is fantastic; it shows that you keep the family unit together, which is important. It's a rare thing these days, with the way families break up and move around. I think you deserve a medal.

Tell me about it. I am a mother of seven kids and I am expecting triplets in April. My two older kids are my step daughter from my husband's first marriage.
Whats the problem, we are financially very comfortable, we ahev been married for 15yrs and we are still very much in love. When we got together we always agreed we wanted five or six kids, granted in a couple of months we will have ten but at the end of the day we can provide for them, financially, emotionally and physically, so why not bring seven nearly ten beautiful healthy children into the world.
I commend you, especially since you are raising kids that are not your own, after you have already raised your own kids. Its hard work and you need all the support you can get.
don't listen what others have to say, you are a strong woman and an inspiration to all new moms out there.
Keep it up.

my mom has 5 kids and she is in no way a "slapper". She had her first 2 with her first husband and he died in a fire. She then got married to my dad and had 3 more. I think she is the best mom ever and whoever wants to say otherwise can kiss my butt! I give you full respect and I hope your daughter is well soon. Good luck to you and don't worry about what people say because they don't know you and never will and if they were half the person you were then they wouldn't be so ignorant with what they say.

Well for a start why do you say you have 5 kids? You don't! You have 3 kids, all grown up, and now your 2 grandchildren live with you.

My mother had two of her grandchildren living with her when two of her own children were still young, but she wouldnt have said they were her kids!

Anyway, people are ridiculous if they think somone is a slapper because they have 5 children. Dont pay attention to them.

Because they are ignorant people. From what you've written you have a lot to be proud of! You take care of your own which is a heck of a lot more than you can say about most people you hear about. You keep doing what you're doing and to heck with the others. I have 6 kids and 6 grandkids. I know you don't have any time to be sitting around with 2 grandkids under your roof and an ill daughter. I hope it all works out for your daughter and her children. All my best...

Too many people rush to judgement unfairly.
Keep up the good work. It's terrific that you are giving a home to your grandchildren during this difficult time with your daughter.
Ignore the ugliness in the answers. No one here will be paying your bills. It's just like the old saying goes "Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one". Good Luck!

Here in the U.S. a slapper would be someone who slaps (strikes) another person but I get the feeling that's not what you mean.

I'd think anyone with that many kids couldn't afford to be a "layabout"...one kid keeps some parents jumping, 5 would be mind numbing!

I think u should be commended for taking on the extra responsibilities of raising 2 grandkids (as a single parent now)after u have raised your own kids. I have three kids under 10 and they drive me up the walls most days and i am young, i don't know how u do it.
I go to spend a week with my mom sometimes and usually cut it short to a few days as she can't handle them.
You should not worry at all what people think or say. One of these days you will get your reward. Don't associate yourself with them. Stay Strong Dear.

Because a prostitute would use protection. Instead you've brought 5 ASBOs into this world, thanks a million. You don't get two social workers unless your children are in serious danger of being abused (may god have mercy on you)!. So you go figure it out, if you can and for goodness sake try using the spell checker. You've got 5 kids and no job = a Layabout .
I'm sick of paying for people like you to reproduce. why can't you take responsibility for your actions?

You know what that really isn't right, i admire the fact that you are working to look after kids on your own. Some people may just be jealous that you have a big family, but who cares what they think, just stick with your family and be happy! And you take good care of those kids, as you are doing so already!!
