Patton - the movie portrays him perfectly...even his relatives say that the movie portrays him exactly the way he was.

The Longest Day
Tora Tora Tora
A Bridge Too Far
Kelly's Heroes (although that was fiction, it was a funny movie with many known actors in it)

forest gump. okay, its not a real war movie, but theres a war scene in it. my favourite war movie is all quiet on the western front.
