I am now 30 weeks preg with number 6...Lemme tell ya there is no such thing as SORTA pregnant...or slight positive...LOL...I went through the same thing late last summer myslef...And you'd think if anyone would know how to read a preg test it would be me...have had enough babies to know LOL!!! Well I took like 5 of them and the line was so faint that I really couldn't even see it. So then I bought a digital test and it said NOT PREGNANT. So even though I felt pregnant, I dismissed the idea (well, after 6 tests...ya know???!) Turns out I was and didn't know it until I was about 13 weeks along...so I am gonna tell you..if there is ANY form of line on that test even one you can barely see, you are preg. and believe it if your body is telling you that you are... CONGRATS...and good luck

The doctors call it a weak positive pregnancy test. All it means is that their are not enough hcg levels in your body yet. Best thing to do is wait a week then do an early morning test when you levels are the strongest (that what i was told to do) . It very unlikely you would have a false positive as long as you did the test correctly and looked at it at the correct time.
The doctor will normally tell you to wait till you have missed one period. If you cant wait a week then wait maybe 4 days cause if your pregnant your hcg levels will double. But dont worry if the line is not darker a positive is a positive.
In the first 12 weeks of prgnancy their is always the possibility of a miscarriage, espescially before a womem even no's she is pregnant(missed period) But i certainly would not let that worry you.
Good luck

Sounds like you are pregnant. There would be no positive reading there at all without there being the HCG hormone detected. Trust me, faint lines does not matter, you are pg and need to make an apt with your OB/GYN. As far as the percentage, well, there is no almost pregnant. You are either pregnant or not, so yeah, I think a 100% is a yes here. Good Health to you and yours!

Hey there! You are probably pregnant, take another test. It is much more common to get a false negative then a false posittive so if that second line is there, try again....
I would recomend a different brand though. Oh, and don't drink a whole lot of water beforehand and your results will be a bit clearer.
Good luck!

It sounds positive, so if you get your period-that means that most likely you've lost it. The second line is almost always a little lighter but its a distinct line none the less. If your period is infact late, then I'd go ahead and call and make an appointment w/ your physician to confirm pregnancy if I were you.

I took a pregnancy test that had a very, very faint second line and yes...I was pregnant. Most Health Departments in your local town give free pregnancy tests I would go there to be sure.

A line is a line. If you get a positive HPT, it means the embryo has implanted. If you have bleeding resembling a period in the next few weeks, it doesn't mean the test was wrong, it means you were pregnant and miscarried.

A light positive is still a positive positive! I was the same way and no matter when I took it the lines were fairly light until a week later. Good Luck to you

If your test shows only a very faint positive, test again a few days later to see if your hormone levels have begun to increase. Home pregnancy tests are 97% effective, even though the technology is getting better to detect early pregnancy. If it happens again in a few days, go to your doctor and get tested.
Personally speaking, I went to my doctor and got tested and my tests were slightly positive. However, I suffered a miscarriage.

Always a possibility. Repeat the test with the one that says pregnant or not pregnant.
There is no such thing as being a little pregnant. Good luck.
