Penhead72, (and all the other arrogant Americans) this is a question for people in the UK so you are wrong and also, the US did not save the UK in WW2, you turned up late and went home after Germany stupidly attacked Russia in the winter! Russia saved us (to the tune of 10 million soviet dead) NOT the arrogant and badly brainwashed americans!(400,000 dead) In fact in North Africa, the Americans got in the way and almost lost us that campaign.
Um OK back to the question.
er
1. better holiday entitlement
2 minimum wage
3. independence for the Bank of England.
4. the economy? HAHAHAHA, since the Bank of England now runs the economy, all that Gordon Brown does is over-tax the profit of UK Plc and then spend it very very badly. THAT IS ALL HE DOES!
4. heating allowance for pensioners? well, pensioners feel that this is being completely patronising and they would rather have the benefits of their experience respected and have their overall pensions increased instead. They would prefer to be allowed to decide for themselves how they budget and not have government do it for them. so that doesn't count.
4. er better healthcare? no they are screwing us for tax and closing hospitals, then the ministers responsible for closing the hospitals are picketing the closures???? hypocrites of the highest order.
4. tough on crime, tough on the accurate reporting of crime? what a crock! the home office is a joke, police cannot intervene in case they breach someone's human rights, but the Government are still creating more and more crackdowns and monitoring databases and more and more totalitarian rules, which we will be imprisoned for breaching. Mug a granny? slap on the wrist, fail to update your details on a national database? "You're fackin' nicked my old beauty!" I wish that the government would treat criminals like, well criminals, and the innocent like ..... well, innocent people. they have it totally **** about face at the moment.
4. defence? nope, it is a policy of screw the troops more like.
4. Education? nope, what with schools dumbed down to the extent that incomprehensible txt L33T is to be allowed in exams because the pupils are too stupid to write correctly, and Universtity policy means that students now have to go massively into debt to fund a nearly useless degree (on the grounds that everyone has one now) means that education policy is a massive failure.
4. Ethical foreign policy...... Yeah right, now that is a sick joke.
4. um....24 hour drinking? if you can afford it, you can get pi$$ed out of your mind 24/7 so you never have to realise what a useless bunch of corrupt lyiung to$$pot$ are in power. But the knock on effects of this alcoholic society is detremental in the extreme. so that counts as only a half
4.5 um, local government? that's an expensive joke.
4.5 Lord's reform? HAHAHAHAHA let's find a system that has worked for hundred's of years and screw it up.
4.5 devolution? that policy that has the Labour front bench shittin' itself empty over the prospect of their scottish mafia losing power in England and Scotland. They created the fukkin nationalist threat in the first place by pandering to the nationalists in 1997.
4.5 immigration? gimme a break! that deserves a reduction of a half point.
4. nope nothing else springs to mind.
I couldn't even find 5 things that this bunch of incompetent, craven, lying, corrupt criminals have done that is positive. but there is a LOAD that is negative including war crimes, fraud, corruption, lies, sleaze and rank incompetence at every level.

1. Proved that style will always triumph over substance. 2. Given us a good laugh at John Prescott's expence. 3. Making sure Britain will always have oil at the expense and suffering of millions of people in the Middle East. 4. Made sure Tony Blair will have a "legacy." 5. Increased wages by nearly 60% (but then you have to be an MP to fully appreciate that one). 6. Brought us the Olympics (at the expense of London taxpayers). 7. Introduced the Congestion Charge to make us all think about the environment (and not just as a cheap and easy way of squeezing the last few pence out of the motorists). 8. Streamlined education by closing as many schools as it can. 9. Made us more self-sufficient by forcing us to work more years before giving us a pension. 10. Made us healthier by closing as many hospitals as it can and forcing us just to heal ourselves.
Gees, that was hard.

Working families tax credits, that's it. There are thousands of bad things they have done, but I have to go to work. So I will leave you to ponder over the bad things that have been done in OUR NAME. They will be a lot easier to come up with than good things. Good luck!

Oh, and laughing at the idea that Blunkett and Prezza actually are attractive to at least one woman on the planet (not me, thank goodness)..
