I think you need to be a little more specific on your question. Are you asking if this is normal? If you are, yes it is normal. Babies will take 2 naps during the day. A morning nap and an after noon nap. The duration of the nap will depend on your child and their sleeping needs.
If taking naps start interfering with sleeping at night just wake them up from their nap a little earlier. Until eventually they will only need 1 nap.

i'd likely provide him a small nap yet no longer some thing longer then 30 minutes at 5 (like a cat nap)or he gained't sleep at evening. I attempt no longer to enable the little ones in my daycare nap more suitable then 2 hours in the morning depending of there age and what they favor. At 16 months I commence to cut back the morning nap all the way down to and hour and a 1/2 and slowly cut back the morning nap so as that by using 2 they nap in the afternoon in trouble-free words and one huge one in all 3 to three.5 hours.

While it seems like a lot of sleeping for us as adults the babies need this sleep to recharge. They are growing and developing at a rapid speed. They really do grow and change in their sleep. Take this time to either sleep yourself so you are more prepared for those nightly feedings, take a shower, clean your house, or whatever you can't get done while the baby is awake. When my son was around this age and sleeping so much during the day, I realized one day that I had not painted my toenails in forever! I sat down in indulged in this simple me time thing and felt like a super model after wards! Maybe this is natures way of giving us mommies a break! Some babies don't sleep this much at all, so be thankful that your is, because while she/he sleeps, there is quiet!

are you just bragging??
Just kidding, napping will vary from baby to baby and from month to month. Some kids seem to need more sleep during the day than others. My two never napped longer than 45 minutes during the first 9 months so I am jealous!!

Thats actually pretty normal for newborns, either they don't sleep and cry a lot, or they sleep forever, and hardly ever cry.
