I love it. It's funny, goofy and poignant. And I'm glad the star of the show isn't some vapid blonde who only hyperventilates about what she's going to wear or date. It's so refreshing to have a main character being interested in her career, is a decent, average human being and is devoted to her family too.

Desperate Housewives, meet Sweet Valley High, meet The Devil wears Prada.

It's ok, I'm actually quite enjoying it. But it is a bundle of cliches, and has a feel of "and the moral of the story is...'

Quite sweet programme.

However I do feel that if it wasn't for all the hyped up PR, not as many people would be watching it.

And somehow, I think a lot of people felt a bit conned when they found out that Ugly Betty is in fact very pretty in 'real life'.

Love it, it's been a long time since I last watched a show regularly. Of course Betty's not ugly (they wouldn't put an ugly person on TV in America), but here the word "ugly" means she's not glamorous, does not care about shopping and wears glasses and braces. Oh, and she's not blonde. And love her family too.

I love the show. I actually have it set to tape in case I miss it. I would rather watch Ugly Betty then some of the other crap that they have on TV today.

I think that it is a good show. I hope it stays around for a while.

Love it!!!!!! All the characters have depth, even in their plasticity! Also, what about her little brother -- we've never seen a character like him on TV before. I think Betty (America) is so earnest and real, we can all see a bit of ourselves as misfits in her character.

Can't wait to see each new episode!

i love the teach. Her courting which includes her boss is oftentimes strained yet she looks to deliver out the superb in him and anybody else for that remember. Her relatives existence cracks me up and that i imagine anybody can relate. i'm loving her loopy sister. Vanessa Williams is like someone all persons artwork with. The back biting, claw her thanks to the properly *********...which includes her kiss azz gopher boy. that's a astounding mix of humor and heartfelt emotions that makes the teach so unique. i'm searching ahead to next week, from the previews evidently like it's going to be yet another humorous episode....

I have been enjoying it but i just know that they are going to turn her into the classic beauty and everyone will live happily ever after...compeletly making a mockery of the fact 'ugly' can be pretty

watched the first ep and the story was great until they got up to the bit where that chick faked her death. Was over for me. I hate those sorts of shows!

Very good, I am enjoying it and looking forward to seeing how it all pans out. I hope they don't do what they usually do on US shows and run them for 10 seasons!!
