In India, the easiest thing to become is a Leader (if u have gun and money). Really no qualification needed whether you are matric pass of thumb person. U become the leader like M.L.A. or M.P. and u order IAS, IPS etc who are far superior to you. I want to ask the President, Prime Minister and all Indian "Is it Right ?".

in our country every tom **** and harry who has money can become a minister very easily .how can people who never went to school or is a dropout ever run a country or even a small town's government?if education is not made necessary to participate in the elections then I'm very sorry to say that India
won't be able to become a superpower till 2050 or even after that.

Well we can only dream of this possibility , as it is a distant dream for all common citizens as never ever can a resolution to this effect can be passed in our Parliament because to vote against it all the political parties will join hands without a second thought. We could then reach the status of a developed Nation and very few of our politicians are wanting it .

We MUST have educational qualifications for our netas. It is a pity that for a peon we have edu. qualifications but not for a MINISTER.
But I am sure the time is coming fast when Election Commission will prescribe some strict qualifications.

Very Good concern.....
