frequency = how often
Yes a bar graph can show frequency
proportion = how big a part of something

Frequency=The number of date points which fall in a given list

For example if i gave you 7,8,8,3,4,6 the heres a table for that information

1-2= 0
3-4= 2
5-6= 1
7-8= 3

Yes a Bar graph does show frequency, it tells you how much each category has which you can put those together to tell the frequency.

Ratios and Proportions= a ratio is a comparison of two quantities

For example:
Find the ratio of girls over boys

b b b b b b g g g
g g g g g g g g g

girls over boys= 12/6 or 12:6 or 12 to 6
Using that:
Proportions: an equation that shows to equal ratios

Example using data above:
12/6=2/1
12/6=24/12
12/6=36/18
but you could still use
12:6=2:1
12:6=24:12
12:6=36:18
or the other way
12 out of 6=2 out of 1
12 out of 6=24 out of 12
12 out of 6=36 out of 18
Because there are 3 different ways to show ratios

So basically the proprtions are just equivalent fractions.

P.S. If you need help with any more of that kind of stuff just email me at uknouwant2dateme@yahoo.com because i did that type of stuff last chorus and im in scholars math and i have a 104.3 in math right now so just let me know and ill explain anything for you.

Hope that helps =]

it would be helpful to know your exact requirements since that could impact the answer....but...guessing at what your actual needs are....
Frequency is a way of measuring amplitude....a bargraph is one good way to show that...with the base being zero and a waveform displaying the amplitude...the distance between the zero mark and the peaks and where it is located is "frequency". Many such measurements are often expressed as a ratio if they occur randomly....(see...I need to know see).....not sure what is meant with one time charge..but that is one of the things that happens when a capacitor is charged and discharged.....it results in one peak over a specific amount of time....
