I can't seem to find out what kind of oil to use. It is not listed in the manual.

If the car has the Mercedes Flexible Service System, which began in '98, you must use synthetic oil. The proper oil is 0W-40, a good choice is Mobil 1. A list of MB approved oils is at the following link:

99' and newer you HAVE too use a full synthetic oil MB recommends Mobil "1" 10 w 40. If it's older & depending on mileage higher mileage use at least a 10 w 40 (castrol). Don't not use any thinner then that.

I worked at a lube. If it is'nt in the manual, it might be listed under the hood. If not, call a lube, and ask. They have a computer program that list all cars.

If I had one, I would use the best,Castrol Sync. 5-50. That would provide protection all year.

Look on the cap where the oil goes. If it's not there call the dealer.

depends on the year of the vehicle and where you live. if its always cold use 5w30 if its hot use 10w30. you cant go wrong with mobil one
