I have a system alert notice says Trojan-Spy.Win32@mx. This box pops up about every 10 sec. Click the ballon to download and got some anti-spyware outfit. Tried to download that but it froze. Next I get four spyware offers from different companies to buy on line. Initially was unable to access home page and am getting constant sypware ads -- all saying I have many problems. Any suggestions? Please.

There is no such "real" Trojan-Spy.Win32@mx. that you are seeing. It is a scam to attempt to get you to purchase a rogue malware removal product. The popup about "Trojan-Spy.Win32@mx.", is always false, phony and fradulant. The actual trojan that has caused your problem is no doubt one of the hundreds (now in the thousands)of varients of what is commonly called "Zlob".
But your computer is indeed infected. This infection is called Smitfraud and it will give you phony scam virus warnings( and often redirect you to a site selling a bogus anti virus product), trying to sell you junk such asPest Capture, Pest Trap, Virus Burst, Spyware Quake and other non working anti virus apps.

Most "All-Purpose" malware apps such as AVG, Norton, Spybot etc unforturnayly can not remove this vile pest called Smitfraud.

It sounds like it might be what is called a trojan horse which is a virus of some sort. Here is a link for a free virus scan at Nortons

Norton Internet Security with Antispyware is what I use. And something that came with my computer called spysubtract. Can you use goback or restore on your computer to get rid of it ASAP in the meantime? Just "go back" to a date before you did this action.

Also do a search for Smitfraud removal, download that and run the program.

dont click on thess pop ups,download a ante spyware remover,,,spybot search and destroy is one of the best free ones.
