I am having major problems with the internet explorer. I use a dial up connection through MSN. I don't have a problem surfering the net with the MSN startup page, its when I use the internet explorer. When I click on that and type in the site I would like to use, I get 50 internet explorer screens that pop up. They all have the www.myaccount.nationalcity..... I don't bank with National City, so I would have never been to this site.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem? Please help! I need the internet like a fish needs water! :D

substance is not entirely correct... she mentioned using Firefox instead of IE. this is definitely not necessary. Firefox is just a different browser, and is not relevant whatsoever to your situation. Do not waste your time downloading it if you only want to fix this problem.
Basically, your computer just has some adware, which can easily be removed by using an adware removal software, which you can search for on http://www.download.com

Get Adaware, Spybot, and a good anti-virus program. Use Firefox instead of IE.

What you have is either a virus or spyware. You need to get rid of either of those. Ad-aware and Spybot can do that.

You need to get a good spy-ware removal software. Also, clear out all of your history and cookies folders. The hijacker maybe in one of these places.
