Brillo pads are steel-wool scrubbing pads, much like SOS pads. They make ones with and without any sort of detergent/cleaning solution embedded in them.

The S.O.S brand is owned by Clorox. Brillo is owned by Church & Dwight.

It's like an SOS pad but it is a different brand "Brillo". They should be close by the SOS pads.

A Brillo pad is a steel wool pad used for cleaning. U can get different types though with a plastic handle so u do't hurt your hand.

Its just another name for an SOS pad - different company, same type of product. Its a steel wool pad with a cleaning agent added.

Yes it used to be another brand of steel wool pad, similar to SOS pad. I don't know if they still make it. SOS pads should do the same thing. Ask your mom.

Yes honey it is indeed an SOS box of pads!!! I know what you mean, by what the heck is that? My Mom still calls them brillo pads too... So, maybe during our "FOLKS" days, they had such a thing, or maybe that was the saying for them, before SOS came around, you know..... My Mom still has other funny sayings that she uses, from the 50s, and such!! That crack me up!! Smile!!!
