Ok, last months pills, I forgot to take four. I came on my period and done a pregnancy test which was negative. Now I have come on my period but I am on the pill and am not due for another 3 weeks yet. Can anyone tell me why this is? I have really bad stomach cramps that come in waves? Also it doesn't help that my boyfriend just broke up with me yesterday. Help me please....thanks x

You have to stay on schedule with those pills. If you stop taking them for a few days, then your HORMONE levels drop, and then you get your period. The pills that you take during the 7 days you are supposed to get your period, I think those pills are placebos, just so that you stay on schedule. Stay on schedule. Call your doctor's office and speak with the nurse there. Don't play with this, because if you get pregnant, and you have no boyfriend or husband, you will be in big trouble. Be careful.

This happened to me when I missed my pills after your period start a new pack throw the others away. You period will straiten itself out. It is a more painful one I know take some pamprin and relax.

can be hormonal in nature or can be that the pills you are taking does not fit you. consult an OB

It's because you missed your pills.... duh. This messes up your cycle. give it a month or so and you'll be back on schedule.
