Being born with the wrong parts is a birth defect. Unlike members of certain other communities, true-TSs have nothing to do with sexual perversion or choice. People choose every single sexual act they commit. Being born with the wrong body is no choice.

Sex (the body), gender (your inborn brain wiring, heart, mind, and soul), and your orientation (choice of partners) are 3 different things.

A number of TSs are just as homophobic as mainstream society because they are mainsteam persons with a mere birth defect. Why should they be expected to be any less so than mainstream women? That is the whole purpose of transition, to become as mainstream as possible. They are a part of mainstream society and act accordingly. Having a birth defect doesn't mean you have to support or condone immoral sexual behavior. Should cancer patients be expected to automatically accept the gay community? How about people born with cleft lips? How about those with heart disease? A certain other community is based on lifestyles, perversions, and choices. None of these elements are present in the true-TS and mainstream community.

By the way, we don't change our gender. We fix our bodies to match our inborn gender. Remember that everyone is a girl for the first 8-12 weeks until the Y chromosome takes over. But if something happens during this period (starvation, stress, chemical exposure, etc.), this process doesn't complete or completes the wrong way. Remember that the brain is a sex organ, and it is configured either one way or the other way.

The rule of thumb is to always treat us according to how we present and call ourselves, and ask yourself how a person born naturally of that gender would expect to be treated, and treating them accordingly. Like if you are considering giving away obscene magazines to someone who is an MtF TS, you should first ask yourself if other women (ie., genetically born women) would appreciate that gift. Do not assume that things are different for MtF TS women as opposed to other women. It is really simple. There is no need to make this any more complicated than it is.

Yeah, well so many people have different issues in this world, it is a shame to know there are people out there that are not happy with who they were born to be, whether male or female, I am very happy being a woman and would never change that for anything. I liked the pink spiked hair, though, but would not do that to my hair. :)

It is possible to be born that way. That is the reason for the operation. Just because a person changes their gender does not mean they are gay.

That is very, very disgusting. You were born male or female for a reason. Transsexuals are absolutely disgusting and are rightly shunned by society
