what could drive a person to such extremes? How can they kill their own child? I understand the situation she's in having been in something not even close as bad, but still, a baby???? It makes me sick to think of it. What are your opinions?

People do funny things for attention and this may one of them. This person may some deep seeded issues that need attention and by posting a question such as she did--she got all the attention she wanted--in a sick and perverted way of course. That may also be a way of reaching out for help. She's obviously sick to do this--sorry this disturbed you in such a way--I'm sure it upset many people--I didn't see it myself--Thank God.

Infanticide by a mother is mostly caused by an acute psychological problem (paranoia) or by a psychiatric problem ( schizophrenia) In both cases kills the mother her child to protect it from more evil.
In more extreme cases it is a form of revenge on her partner.

that is awful but i wouldnt be suprised if this person hadnt made up this question to shock,as there is no way she would have passed out something that was a funny colour with a bit of string like stuff,

i dunno, honestly..But i kinda believe her cos i've seen things myself n i can understand her..screwdriver? oh GOSH! i feel like im gonna b sick! but if she's made it up, she's got to be the female spielberg...!
