No President Bush will not be remembered as the worst President. Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon have that spot already taken with their Viet Nam dead body counts. Bush will at least have some of the people viewing things with a 9-11 attitude.

Only time will tell but I don't put much credence in what historians say. Each has a bias and academics are notoriously liberal. It probably comes from having little or no real world experience.

One of the other posters commented about Reagan. The man looked like he was doing nothing about half the time yet managed to end the arms race and the cold war. Not too bad for a failure. Bush has many faults but I have noticed the economy improved after Clinton left it in a recession and there have been no more terrorist attacks in this country since the one that Clinton's policy and lack of leadership allowed to happen.

Perhaps you have some problem with somebody who answers attack with attack? You can sit on your bottom and complain, I'm sure you'll be doing much the same thing when it comes time to defend yourself too.

I too would like to know who these historians are and how they can rank a president before his term is even completed. Other than Iraq, which Congress supported, and his way of speaking, where has there been any negative criticism? If he is ranked low, it would have to be above Johnson, Carter, or Clinton.

He definately will not be remembered well. As the worst president - I can't say for sure. But he certainly is way down on the totem pole.

Which historians?

Bush will be remembered like Lincoln, - a 'new' president in an un-precedented time of war.
