I'd like to learn salsa or latin dance, but I can't find any place I could learn it, except Northampton, MA and that's too far. I live in Claremont, NH, which is a little less than two hours north. For Christmas 2005, I gave my younger sister a latin dance DVD and she apparently has no interest.

You can look up a studio near you: http://www.ballroomdancers.com/Directory/Studios/Default.asp
or on http://www.accessdance.com
Too bad about your Chrismas gift of 2005. Maybe she can lend it to you.

The best factor approximately Latin is that it is excellent-convenient to pronounce. There are not any silent letters like in english, and only some dipthongs. Basically, you simply pronounce each letter within the phrase. All of the recordings I've heard had been of classical Latin, that's somewhat one-of-a-kind in pronunciation from "church" Latin, however I'm guessing that might be should you searched on-line a little you might discover recordings of lots or of a few spoken Latin.
