I heard of a contest once where people were suposed to write in what they would be willing to do in a big department store window, where all could see, if they were garanteed to be paid $1,000,000. Lots of people tried to out do each other by writting in the most nasty, humiliating, outlandish thing they could think of doing in publice for a million dollars.
I always thought it would be far more interesting to know what people would refuse to do if they were offered a million dollars to do it.

I agree with you. These is a kind of incentive to corrupt peoples dignity. Years ago, used to have a TV program,called Fear Factor, where participants used to eat bugs alive in order to win a competition with a valuable prize. I always wondered what was more disgusting. Watching them eating those things, or seeing what a TV was willing to do, to get viewers attention. TV are ready to corrupt their own viewers by promoting programs like that. I think that corruption's of people dignity, suppose to be considered a crime too, because it caries the idea of promoting indignity attitudes. I have never seem a competition, or TV incentive of promoting people's dignity attitude. What a person. would be willing to do, in order to help others. Would they almost starve themselves in Africa to help save African people. Whom would come up with the most profitable way of saving others ones lifes? Would a lottery promote their winners, to invest part of their money on making this world a better place to live?
