I hope some of you would be able to help me out. I did a urine pregnancy test on January the 7th. The result was postive although the second line was kinda weak. Then, three days later on January the 10th I repeated the test, the result was postive again and the line was darker. I did one today (the 15th) and the line didnt chance since the 10th! I know it may sounds ridiculies to check the hormonal level like that, but I am really worried that it might be an ectopic pregnancy. I dont feel any of the other sympthons such as pain in my shoulders, neck or belly. What can this be? What can cause the hormones to stay at the same level? Just to let you know I am about 4 weeks pregnant. Please help me out!

You really can't measure hormone levels in this way. Pregnancy tests are not intended for that. If you have an ectopic, then you will know about it before long because you will be in severe pain. You have a long way to go with this pregnancy and you really need to relax and trust your body because otherwise you will drive yourself mad with worrying about every twinge or change in your body.

You are probley ok. You need to call your doctor and see if they can scheadual a ultrasound, that would be able to tell you if everything is ok. Don't worry so much and think about a new baby that is on your way. FYI -my sister had an ectopic pregnancy her first pregnancy and she got pregnant a short time after and she know has a boy and she is pregnant again.

Ectopic pregnancies are very serious and happen for a wide variety of reasons. If you are worried about this then the only thing that will set your mind at ease is seeing a doctor and getting a sonogram. Good Luck!

I have had 2 ectopic pregnancies and they are very painful the first time almost killed me because I thought it was just a normal pain if you have pain on one side and it has you doubled over and it's hard to sit down go to the hospital if not don't worry.

maybe the line got darker and you couldnt tell. either way talk to your doctor about it. I was having some pains so they sent me for an ultrasound to check for an ectopic- but it was only a cyst and the baby was fine.... but if you think it is an ectopic then discuss it with your dcotor and you may just get a really early first picture of baby just like i did!!!!
