Heels 100%. You could be wearing the most frumpy of uniforms but if you have those heels on you will still feel sexy. Also makes your legs look nice and slender even if you have chunky calves. Makes posture better too as you have to concentrate on walking and tend to have a straighter back to stop yourself slouching. You can tell I don't wear flatties!!

I think it depends on the industry, the office and the outfit or occassion. I'm a shoe gal, as is my 4 yr old. It drives my husband batty. :-)
If I have to meet with this short arrogant twerp from another office, I wear the highest heels I can find. It intimiates him when I tower over him. He's such a creep it's fun to watch him squirm.
Flats when I'm dealing with a lot of files or wearing crop pants or capris.
Kitten heels or 2-3 inch pumps for most other days. I work in a rather casual office. If I were in a more conservative enviorment, stilletos would not be appropriate. However, if I were in a trendier office, I think stilletos would be very appropriate every day.
Today is an "unofficial" work day and I'm going to be sitting on my tush writing a brief. That makes it Croc day! (They're ugly as sin, but feel sooo good!)

Depends if you're a girl or a boy.
I wear flats - all part of demeaning depersonalising degendering nurse uniform not to mention bad back so can't wear anything over 1" anyway - but I do envy those in stillettos. If I was a "normal" person I'd do what they do in U.S. - uncomfortable-toe-clenching-bunion-making heels at work to impress colleagues - and comfortable (bliss) trainers for quickstep to subway.

depends on what job you have. If your sat down stilletto's, but if your on your feet all day (like a waitress) flats or a very small heel. i can't wear stilletto's for long as my feet hurt very quickly, i live in my flat boots

as much as i would love to say heels- every girl feels great in high heels that make your legs look great- i'm going to have to say flats for work on two counts;
1. if you want to look professional i find that its better to get noticed for your work and not your legs! plus there is nothing worse than being abvle to look your boss in the eye with them on, then suddenly choosing flats one day and getting an eyeful of chest (worse if your straight and your boss is a girl!!) and having to look up!
2. think of the health of you feet, if they don't fell good- from walking in heels all week and you've got blisters and hard skin, they won't look good either, and besides if you've had heels on all week the pair you pick for saturday night won't feel as special.
for great shoes either flat or heels i love shelleys.com- great sale at the moment too!!

i wear flats to walk to work (from the station) and have a pair of heels under my desk that way I can switch if i need to but as a general rule, flats with trousers (unless they are slightly too long in which case i wear the heels) and if i'm in a skirt I wear heels, nothing to high but higher than kitten heels (they're just not worth it)

Personally heels for most of the time but in the summer flats because it's too hot otherwise. Shoes need to be comfortable, stilettos are fine as long as they aren't too high and tarty.

I always wear heels no matter what. The only possible exception is if I go hill walking which only happens about twice a year so I figure it doesn't count.
