I noticed that professional window washing engineers may wash exterior windows from floor 40 thru 50 without using hose at all (just a little water go with their stairs). I always wonder how could they do that job? No matter how clean the exterior might be, after washing 3 or 4 windows in a floor, the towel becomes quite dirty..not to mention washing all windows in 10+ floors. Could somebody dymystify this for me...thanks. I can try their techniques at home!

Try using a pressure washer... that's what most professional window washers use.

Vinegar is also a wonderful window cleaner...when you use it with newspaper. No kidding.

And if you want your windows to stay nice and clean and really easy to rewash, polish them with car wax after they have been freshly washed. Not only will dirt no longer stick to them easily, but when you wash them after, it'll come off much easier and too boot, your windows won't fog up again. This also works great on the inside and on mirrors.

Most professional window washers do not use a towel or cloth to wipe the windows. They apply the cleaning solution with a brush and remove it with a "squeegee" and just use the cloth to wipe the squeegee..
