I was a sniper in the U.S.Army in the 70's, and I agree with you. Todays soldiers have a hard time lining up the sights. As we get better weapons, we get poorer shooters, which means better weaons, which means....etc.

I guess you wouldn't mind standing on a roof from about 800 meters and allowing any one of my snipers to take a shot at you.
By the way, my youngest, most inexperienced sniper recently hit Shiite sniper on a roof from 860 meters.
Dropped him like he's hot.
Me personally, I can put a shot group together, at 200 meters, that you cant set a quarter on. I'm still working on a dime.
