Like the Matrix. I would probably freak out and start crying.

That all depends on what age you are when you wake up. If you are just a baby and the dream just happened in one night I would probably wake up puke on myself and scream cos i had pooed in my nappy.
If however it had taken all your life to dream it (in my case 30+ years) I would wonder why I had not died of starvation in that time,
To say it would be weird is a bit of an understatement,
But to put it back into perspective in a dream you never question if you are dreaming so it cant be a dream, OR CAN IT .

Well, my life until now has been so detailed and realistic that i would be highly suspicious that in fact I had "woken up" into a dream. So I would probably behave in a highly irresponsible way, get arrested, end up either in jail or the local loony bin claiming: "nothing matters because it's all just a dream anyway!".

Does that mean waking up as a newborn baby then? Cos maybe we already did that but can't remember...we might have dreamed our whole life from beginning to end, when we were babies...that's where the deja vu feeling comes from? Now that would be interesting!!

I thought about that before. Or that I woke up from this and ended up on a school bus sleeping back in third grade. How scary that would be. I would try my best to pave the same pathway.

my guy did , he woke up in hospital to find he had been crippled in an accident and has had 6 years to reflect on how wonderful and full of potential his previous life was , he says the weird part is that he never really understood how great that life was until it was gone .

it would be worse than weird. i guess the first thing i should do in that situation would be to figure out who i really am in the real world
what i probably would do is live the rest of my life in denial

it would be weird but i'd get up and wonder what my life was really like....or i'd roll over cover my head up, snuggle down in the covers and force myself back into the dream

I'd go back to sleep and hope I can dream that I'm richer, prettier and more successful.
