The rednecks that live here want to be able to spend more money on beer, cigs, and gambling, so they grumble about gas prices.

I drive a Ford Ranger with a 2.9L V6, It costs me about $55 to fill from the 1/4 mark. That gets me about 60L. Gas today jumps around so much, if you know when to buy it, you'll be fine, but if you're one of the people who don't then you complain. I'm not telling my little secret, or it wont matter for me the next time I gas up.
People complain about gas prices because they have nothing else to compalin about. When they drive a BIG V8, V10, or V12 they really have nothing to complain about, if they're that worried about gas prices buy a Smart car. I'm ripping out my little 2.9L for a nice big 5L, is it going to cost more for gas, yes, but will i complain, no. It was my choice to have a V8 and i'll live with it.

When gas prices more than double what they have been in 100 years in the span of 3 years....well then these are things that make you say hm. Right.
When your parents paid less then a dollar, and you if your over 25 paid about a dollar....for about a century and then over night your paying 3.50....then these are things that make you say hm. Am I managing things right...or do I just don't give a damn about people.

Oil companies are gouging consumers. Oil is $53 a barrell and we're paying 20 cents more a gallon than we did 2 years ago when it was the same price per barrell. Screw Exxon and Citgo.

Because wages have not gone up in 10 years. Milk has tripled and gas doubled. Tennessee average wage is $6.00 an hour.

becuse alot us bust or butts at work just to watch it go into the gas tank to get back and forth to work it said and it stupid but it;s the truth we all have to work and that just something that we have to have is gas so we can get there

they complain because they rely so much on this energy. they think nothing can replace this. if they can think of something that can replace this, the gas producer will start complaining about it

good question. in 1977 i sold my V8 truck cause gas was 2.00 / gallon... yesterday i got gas for 1.97. what me worry?

I know, right? I think if you don't like the price of gas,then get out and walk more.In my experience,the people who do most of the complaining,are the people driving these big a** ,gas guzzling,SUV's. Get a more economical car for christ sake.
