Been to Malta last year and when I saw the little statue called "The Sleeping lady" it definetly became my favourite piece of art, because it's so delicate, so peaceful and so old! Does anyone feel the same?

This is a very fine prehistory work of art and is 5,000 years of age. What makes it so interesting is the amount of detail shown.
It is believed to be a priestess in the act of interpreting the dreams of the faithful.

These little clay mother figurines are found in many parts of the world, with surprising similarities: big bottoms & hips and small heads. We should treasure them; they are beautiful.
