How can I dress sexy without looking like a slut?

I'm a performer, and I'm working on my stage persona. I need to be sultry, but also classy. Off the stage, I am very conservative and dress more for comfort and function than anything else. As far as my body-type goes, I'm tall with and average build and curvy. Help!

if you want to look sexy and not slutty, accentuate the parts of your figure that you like without showing lots of skin. for example, of you have a nice waist, wear a fitted jacket that cuts in at the waist but maybe has a peplum in the back (if your backside is a little small). a long skirt with a slit up the side (not the front over the thigh!!) can discreetly show off nice legs. if you have a swan-like neck, this can be sexy with a "choker", but soften it by using a beautiful scarf or soft belt. shoe-wise, make sure the heel is not too high but 3- 3 1/2" usually gives the legs and ankles a nice shape without screaming "hooker!!". as a tall girl, do not be afraid of heels! i'm also tall and will wear heels when i go out because it looks nice. as to color, use darker tones that go with your skin, if you are pale, try burgundy paired with a little black. if you are dark-skinned, plum is a really sultry and different color. as a performer, you should feel sexy/classy in the clothes but it is your responsibility to sell it as sexy/classy. good luck!

Look at a long dark colored dress with a knee length slit on one or both sides. Maybe something with a see thru bib, or sleeves.

A nice business suit, w/ skirt and waist tightened blazer, a wide belt, High heels, w/ seamed stockings. The blouse can be low cut with Lacy see thru bib. Or a low cut slightly too tight sweater.

This is very classic, sexy style.

A lace body suit with a long skirt with side slits very high. Long coat over top worn open.

Ivory, satin, full length, evening gown, no frills, no hosery, just h-heeled slides.



Think of Julia Roberts in pretty woman.

A form fitting short dress worn with a full length sweater coat, wide belt, H-heels.

Hair up with curled tendrils is sexy. Messy short hair is or can be sexy, even with the above attire.

Well, the secrets are the fabrics (lace might be a good idea) something that marks your curves and maybe subtly show off some skin (the more you show the more you will look like a **** but just a little would be ok)

I would really have to see a pic to honestly help, but try an open back dress, not showing the front but showing skin, and try a body suit so you can wear less but still not show.

i am no expert,beiing a men,i can appriciate good looking women without that they are looking slutty.
think the key is in the colours,if you wear loud colours,with the wrong mix than it looks not
very suptile.
black or white dresses,can look very sexy,or soft colours,depending on the style, and if it
