First, create a specific schedule and stick to it. ALSO---- when it's time for bed, take off your soft, cotton, and smelly t'shirt that you've worn all day and put the bassinet matress through it. Make sure you tuck ALL the loose fabric of the cotton shirt under the matress so that it fits flat and smooth just like a regulare sheet should fit. Let the baby sleep on it. It will smell like you and should help bring comfort and peace to the baby.

That is totally normal for a baby. Maybe keep him awake for longer right before you go to bed? You may need to set your sleep schedule to his for now.

Sounds like it sleeps a lot during the day. In a way that's nice for you lol. But this is normal for newborn children.

try to keep him awake for at least three or four hours before bed, talk to him, bathe him, feed him, then lay him down and pray he eventually figures out his nights and days!!!! When you do get up with him at night be as quiet as possible, no tv, no bright lights and only talk to him in very quiet tones and as little as possible, feed him and lay him back down, you do not want him to think it is time to be awake!!!!!

first of all, it is a phase and it will pass, but if you can, try keep him awake all day, do whatever you can to keep him awake. I was like that as a child, and my parents tried that and it worked
