Hey Dude,

You may have to antivirus programs that think that each other is a virus, and try to remove it.

It is like wearing two condoms. Extra protection not needed. :)

Put one on an leave it alone.

I'm using AVG Anti Virus and Kapersky Internet Security 6 together right now .. AVG AV for 5 months already and Kapersky IS 6 for two months. So far they haven't clashed and when Kapersky didn't catch a virus AVG did and vice versa. I have both resident shields on at the same time. Every time I scan they didn't recognise each other as a virus. I think these two are compatible with each other... Many adviced against using two anti virus programs tho'.I take the risks...One more thing, If AVG is also Internet Security suite I wouldn't recommend. because both have firewalls. Now I use Kap IS6's firewall instead of Windows Firewall. AVG AV doesn't have firewall.

Ensure that one is enabled at a time. Otherwise there will be a software conflict. If you need, I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

No just make sure there not in your startup(boot) files.

Goto run msconfig/startup and make sure both are unchecked.
Then you can start them seperatly when you want.
