There will be a lingerie party at my school in March, and I plan to attend it. I have been working out quite seriously for that party, but I recently hurt my deltoid while maxing out on bench press. My doctor says I shouldn't work out till mid-February. It's driving me crazy because I can't bulk up for about a month. However, I still wanna do some exercises that will make my body look better. What should I do?

If you want to tone muscles but not to do any lifting of weight in order to tone muscles you could do push ups or sit ups. Sit up helps to tone up your tummy muscles etc. train 6 packs and push ups helps you to strenghen up your hand muscles. but it's better to do Push ups becuz sit up will hurt your spine bone a bit if you do it over the edge.

Hope it helps

Eat extra protein. Train with eighty five% weight, 6-eight reps, three-four units with three-four mins among every set to permit the muscle to get well. One frame side every week. i.e. Mon Chest; Tue Back; Wed Legs; Thur Shoulders; Fri Arms. Protein drink with banana two times an afternoon. Snack among foods with protein meals (tuna or chook). Eat plenty of greens. On final set move up ninety%

Try Pilates, it looks easy but it burns, after one session if your eyes aren't watering, then you don't need to tone anything! It is like mat exercises, crunches, stretches, etc. it is very intense. Many health clubs have the class. I would not go to a private Pilates school/instructor until you know you like it/can do it/want to do it.

Some variants of yoga also are made to tone rather than focus on meditation.

Good luck!

Swim. It works more muscles than almost anything and is low impact.
