Not exactly sure what you are after but for current stuff go to Janes as mentioned, the MOD of department of defence. However military strategy is often taught as a course in officer training. The art of War (SUN TZU)is often a good starting (place also look at the Romans military campaigns especially the areas of fortification and subduing the populace. Then move into Napoleon and for defence strategy you really should look at the Maltese campaign during the second world war. For how not to do it look at the French Maginot line (link.) More recently look at the Russian campaign in Afghanistan, (from the Afghan point of view. To get a really clear idea you have to do lots of reading. Great Britain has a number of very good examples, Battle of Banocckburn for example. William Wallace marching on York. remember though the reporting of warfare is usually done by the victor and as such will be biased

I don't know but I have a strategy. Bombard the enemy with tons of chocolate. They will become fat and lazy like some of us, and they will just want to lie down.
